why was art, astronomy, geometery, and christianity important at the time of the Italian renaissance?

  1. Christianity brought out all the Art. the building of churches, painting, and everything else to decorate a church. It was a boom of building churches ect, you get the idea.
  2. Those are the things that reawakened Europe's cultue out of The Dark Ages. A lot of those thngs were influenced by the Middle East and China. That's why the Renaisance happened in Southern Europe (Italy) first. That's who was closest to the rich trade routes to the East (China and Middle East).
