What are some Traditional Italian Phrases?

like I mean, those phrases that start with "just like I always say" or"just like grandma would say" those kind, like the one that goes " well ya know, grandma knows atleast 10 people who lost their eye that way!" only in italian? please i am doing an assignment about traditional phrases and I only have a couple italian ones. and i think it`d be cool to know some seeing as I am italian blooded.
