  1. I don't think the name Derek exists in the Italian language. The closest would probably be Davide which is David.
  2. Federico.
  3. Derek is not an italian name or word. I think it's not easy also find out a "translation" of this name in italian, because the most similar is Federico, but the proper translation of it will be Frederick. So, there is not a good translation of Derek in italian: it doesn't exist here. If we like that name we simply say Derek as you say it and pronounce it.
  4. Dereke (d-air-wreck-a) lol your name pretty much stays the same only you add an Italian twist!!! miss talkin Derek. lol ps if you havnt seen the name its me! Dani! lol!
  5. Derek is an English form for HighOldGerman "Dietrich". Dietrich (or Theodoric) von Bern was a Teutonic barbarian king who ruled over Italy in High Middle Ages (and the main character in Nibelungenlied). In Italian he is named "Teodorico". But Teodorico is very rare as first name today: it would sound very overblown and pompous. (pronounce: Teh-oh-doh-ree-koh)
