Why Italy

Italy should we remove it from the map and give it to the Palestinians?

2. No, it's one of my favourite countries to lie on the beach and overdose on pizza and pasta...now if they could only brew a decent beer...
3. Absolutley not but demographics show that Italians aren't having any kids and by the year 2050 most Italians won't have a brother, sister, aunt or uncle. Muslims immigrating to Italy have a higher birth rate so in time as in much of Europe they will be a nonviolent takeover.

7. Who the hell are you to plan this "fair" solution ? From yr nickname it seems you're Italian, but that's impossible by reading your question. If you are Italian shame on you for just having proposed this question, if you aren't why don't give them your own homeland. Italy is one of the few countries that are already giving to (the good side of) Palestinians a lot of support (economic and no-profit aids) but I don't think that anybody of us Italians (sound of mind) would be willing to be replaced by them. It's possible that this will anyhow happen (if the natality tax will not go to increase once again) but not for yours or somebody's else choice !!.
