Why Italy
In Italian culture, is it customary that a grown child should phone their father first, just to say hello?
I'm looking for feedback. My father will not call me "first" because he believes that I am supposed to call him first because he is my father and that's the way it works. However he has no problem calling my brother first.

- My dad never called me either, I always had to call him. He died in August, and I miss him. Stop worrying about the small stuff. CALL YOUR DAD!!!
- It doesn't matter who calls who first. Communication is 50/50. For the heck of it, ask your dad why he will call your brother first,since he is also your brother's father. Could it be that he just doesn't want to bother you?
