Why Italy

What bits of Venice (Italy) are open on Sunday- sights as well as shopping?

We get in Saturday after lunch and have till Sunday tea-time so we'll need to divide what we do according to what we can actually do on Sunday. Any ideas about where quality (not DESIGNER!) woollens, coats will be available. We'll be travelling mid-October so stores ought to stock them by then.

  2. Almost every shop and tourist spot will be opened at this time. Don´t put that much on your list - their is so much to see in Venice and you don´t have that much time... For the main attractions ( basilica San Marco, Palace del Doge, Campanile) you´ll have to bring a loooot of waiting time in the queue with you. They are only designer stores in the surrounding of the San Mark´s Square...
