- ok well, italy is europe. europe is designer wear. it doesnt have to be real, but never the less, it should have some kind of sign on it. i dont mean abercrombie, i mean go to marshals or lohmans- gucci- but dont waste your money. (i know in france they like Zara). comfortable yet nice shoes. they like purses. remeber this is not america where it is nice to layer. the like nice clothes, not a million tank- tops at a time. i hope you have fun- go to piazzo and you must ride on a gondala. rome is the city of love.
- I want to come with you : )
- Bring a light jacket. Other than that Rome is warn as well as Venice.
- You don't want to look like a tourist I assume>>?? Casual clothing you should be darker jeans. Don't wear light or faded jeans. Definitely don't wear big American labels. Nice basic t shirts. But it is cooler over there now so bring some nice sweaters. Brown-black earth colors blend nicely. NO big chunky nikes you'll stick out like a sore thumb buy some nice brown or black (I call em euro keakers) kinda look like bowling shoes seriously. Once you get used to seeing European sneakers you won't look at American sneakers the same again. Buy a nice "business" looking bag rather than a backpack to lug around if you need something. For dressing up a little classic black goes a long way. If you need designers for reference, keeping it simple, think more Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, NOT Gap/Abercrombie. I'm not saying being a tourist is a bad thing you have to hide. Just in my experience blending in is so much more fun. Buon Viaggio!! p.s. It is not warm over there at this time of year nor will it get any warmer in 10 days highs around 65-70 and lows of 45-50 at night dress for that weather Trust me
- DO NOT WEAR ABERCROMBIE OR AMERICAN EAGLE KIND OF CLOTHING!!!
