Lufthansa is coming in cheapest currently at $213 USD roundtrip, all taxes and fees included. This with one connection at Munich each way. The cheapest nonstop is Swiss at $378. - By train. it will cost 120 Euro (near 150 $); it will take 7 hours (little more or little less, according to the schedule); you have to change in Milan.

- From Zurich to Lugano, you sometimes find extremely cheap tickets on the SBB homepage (national railway services) if booked online for a specified date and time - and from Lugano to Venice there are ordinary tickets available.
