Why Italy

Which 3 (of 5) places in Italy would you travel: Rome, Venice, Florence, Cinque Terra, Siena?

  1. I recently traveled to Italy and thoroughly enjoyed Rome and Venice. I have heard that Cinque Terra and Sienna are both amazing places as well. Another place I highly recommend, if you are into Roman history, is Pompeii. I cannot wait to return to Italy!! Rome has so much history in itself that it is impossible to see it all, even in two weeks time. But it is an absolute MUST see. Venice is best in the early spring...I recommend going in the month of May. The temperatures are perfect!!
  2. I would probably travel to Sienna, Vience, and Rome.
  3. ROME VENICE AND SIENA
  4. Well since I've been a little girl I've wanted to go to Rome... I'm finally going to be able to go there this summer!!!! I totally advise rome because of all It's history!
  5. Rome, Venice and Florence.
  6. Depends...classic, artsy, and learning about Italy would be Rome, Venice, and Florence. but, if I wanted to learn about the way of life and see the true Italy, I would go to Cinque Terra, Siena, San Gimignano. if i wanted to relax, Cinque Terra, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast.
  7. I just studied abroad in Florence for three months, and it was wonderful....I was lucky enough to be able to visit all of these places. Florence is a wonderful place and there is so much to see and do. Depending on what your time schedule is like, I would spend about 4 days in Rome, if you go to Florence and spend a few days, Siena is not that far and is easily a day trip, and has the most beautiful piazza. Cinque Terre is very nice for warm weather because it is right on the sea, the hiking is tough for those who are not used to it but the views are beautiful, I would spend maybe 2 or 3 days there. Venice is just so unique, and there is no other place like it in the world. I spent about 3 days there this past winter and did not have the best weather, but it was still beautiful to say the least. Here are the links to all the pics. I put up while I was in Italy, check them out if you would like... http://community.webshots.com/user/Laura825000 http://community.webshots.com/user/lrippeon825 Hope this helps!
