Has anyone any ideas of tours across Europe ending in London?
I will be in UK/Europe in September/October 2006. Would like to do a tour from London to Italy and back either to Paris or London - has anyone any experience of this type of tour? I am "middle aged" and travelling alone!! Specifically looking at budget type tours by bus/train. Thank you to everyone who answered my question - I have some very good websites to work from. Again, many many thanks.

- Go to a travel agency and tell them your particular. There are many reputable tour companies that do these types of tours. Some of them are also age specific so that the tour is not to stressful. Have fun on your European Tour.
- I was in Germany and Austria last year and looked further into future visits for vacation. A fun and interesting way to travel would be to get a "Euro Pass" whereas you travel virtually anywhere/anytime via rail thruout Europe. Much cheaper than buying single tickets. Don't be afraid of the ICE (Inner City Express) high-speed trains. They are awesome! Luxurious and smooth like riding on glass! Look for the castles as there are many. One thing we noticed but were unsure of at first were these small "garden sheds" just outside of many towns. We later discovered they are peoples' weekend "nudist" retreats. Enjoy your trip!
- Vantage has some good European tours. iexplore will customize a tour just about any way you want it.
