Why Italy

I need to book a flight to Italy, has anyone done this before?

I need some tips on getting lower airfare, possibly different routes that can be taken for less once in Europe? Like maybe booking a flight to another area for less, and taking a train or bus. Please let me know what ways you have traveled overseas, and who you used to do so, such as Continental, or Hotwire, etc. Thanks!

  1. Expedia sometimes has good web deals, and at least it shows you what flights are out there. Alitalia and Delta usually have some reasonably inexpensive prices, but then again, I don't know what your price range really is. Flying anywhere in Europe is going to be pretty similar in terms of price, so I don't think flying somewhere else and then taking a train or bus is going to save you enough money to be worth the aggravation.
  2. Yes, sure I would like to share my experience with you - It was when I went to India for a small vacation.... I wanted to pay a visit to Tirupati Temple - Its a amazing temple to visit - my friends have been there - its near to chennai - 6hrs drive from there - chennai is a big city - so I took a flight to mumbai to Tirupati instead to Chennai - the idea was - it costs me less - so the whole logic is look for less popular places from where you can make a drive to your actual destinations - as you will find that the fares are pretty cheap to those destination in compare to the popular ones - On this - the planning needs to be done by you - for my case my friend helped me out - so try to see if any one in your neighborhood or any of you friend can come and help you out with your plan….
