Why Italy
Can anyone recognize these foreign destinations?
My mom has recently been into identifying our family's genealogy. We have many old pictures, some of which include pictures of my great-grandmother's travel destinations. She loved to travel but, unfortunately, did not write the places on the back of the picture. If anyone could identify these places for us, it would be very much appreciated! Off the top of my head, I know my great-grandmother traveled to Italy and Japan, although I know she traveled to other places, as well. Thank you so much for any and all information you can give about these places. - Although I have traveled quite a lot the photos are a good puzzle. Everything looks familiar and yet is not .In order of appearance in your question I would say the first picture must be in Romania or Bulgaria, or the east Balkans. The second must be in Italy. 3 & 4 & 6 in East Europe, most likely Poland. 5 In Lisboa Portugal. And 7 & 8 possibly Germany. What is very frustrating is that you think you know but you are not sure. I hope I've helped and didn't confused you any further.
