Why Italy
Is there anywhere to find GPS map data (for Italy) for free?
A friend is traveling to Italy this summer and is looking for map data for his Garmin e330. Garmin charges $300 for the data, which incidentally is the same amount he paid for the ACTUAL UNIT, including the North American data. Needless to say, that price is ridiculous, so I'm hoping for a lower-priced option. Note: We're looking for data that can be uploaded onto the Garmin device. Sorry, the unit is a c330, not e330 - my bad.
