  1. take the eurostar, it travels through several countries in europe =)
  2. These are the best websites. It is really easy to travel by train there, you will have tons of fun!!! www.raileurope.com www.eurostar.com Have fun!
  3. The eurostar is a fast 2.5 hour train from London to Paris, but it costs at least $94. one way. You can look for a cheap flight with ryanair or easyjet to France or Italy, and buy a 3 country selectpass on eurail.com or raileurope.com for the trains in Fr,Sp,It. If under 26 you can get youth pass and if traveling with a friend it's even cheaper with saver passes.
  4. Best way to start is by buying a ticket!
  5. Depending on where you're actually from, i'm guessing UK - there are certain deals for students, railcards etc.. Look into them. Book your seats at least a couple of days ahead, unless you feel like standing for five hours. umm.. have fun. Lucky bastards. =P Some sites http://www.backpackingeurope.com/ http://www.gapyear.com http://www.eurail.com/ Blah, i'm sure you've seen them all. Google is your friend.
  6. If you want to work out your travel schedule, here are some links to national railway sites, the French site is also very good for border crossing journeys: England: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ France: http://www.voyages-sncf.com/dynamic/_SvHomePage?_DLG=SvHomePage&_CMD=cmdHomepageUK&WB=HP&rfrr=4685ac17fd2e7656e4918c53b246a3f7 Spain: http://horarios.renfe.es/hir/ingles.html Italy: http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html
  7. u can buy rail tickets online with several different options, ie. 3 countries within 15 days, all of europe in 3 months etc etc... good luck and have fun
