Best Book Travel Guide?
What's the best travel guide book I can buy from Barnes & Noble or Borders for a trip to Europe. more specifically Germany, Austria, Italy and France.

- I also like Lonely Planet.
- The Rough Guides are really good and so is Frommer's. For charming books, you may want to try Rick Steve's books of Europe. He really knows the ins and outs. Good luck.
- Anything from the Eyewitness people. They're great. My second choice would be Lonely Planet.
- Anything by Rick Steves. The man knows what he's talking about. In addition to giving information on well-known sites of each place, Rick introduces you to lesser-known sites...off the beaten path. The books have the perfect amount of information...not too much, not too little. I know in the Paris book, he has tours for each museums...sort of like a guided tour. Very helpful when navigating the Louvre and Versailles! Check out his Europe Through The Back Door web site for all sorts of great information on traveling and individual places.
