Why Italy
Missing Italy.....?
We were stationed in Italy from 2001-2004 and I loved every minute of it...Italy is the most beautiful country in the world. I miss it so much...my husband is currently in Iraq and will be home in about 3 months. For christmas he is taking me back to Italy for 2 weeks... We know our way around Italy as we traveled alot while we were there. We will be staying in Vicenza ... But I want to spend a few nights around Nove, does anyone know of any hotels close by? We will be staying at the Rose hotel in Latina when we go back to Roma. We are from U.S.A....I learned to speak Italian while over there so there is no language barrier..so I wouldnt need a "tourist" hotel

- I've stayed at the Hotel Due Mori (http://www.duemori.it/ ; +39-0424-471777) inside the walled part of Marostica for the living chess match a couple of times - it's around 60 euro per night and was very nice. There are a lot of choices in Bassano Del Grappa. The Hotel Belvedere was very nice. Both of these are close to Nove. You can check on other choices at: http://en.venere.com/italy/
- Hi, I am from Vicenza, currently stationed in Fort Campbell...another army wife. If you are planning to rent a car I would stay in a hotel in Vicenza...they recently opened one by he Piramidi Mall http://www.hotelpiramidi.com/frm_hotel_i.htm which is supposed to be nice! I MISS ITALY TOO!!!!
