Why Italy

Are there any pasta-making factories near Rome, Italy that give guided tours?

  1. In spite of Rome is not the most famous area for the pasta-making factories (these are rather located in the southern Italy,in the areas of Naples, Molise, Puglia, etc.) I know that a few of them are open for guided tours. I'm sorry I couldn't find any link to suggest you but when you'll be in Rome you may contact a local Tourist Agency and book the guided tour you're interested in.

  3. i guess you have to call and ask, to one of those contacts up here, but i dont think they will organize a tour unless you are in a big group. and if u want it in english thats going to be tough!! but maybe you are interested in this: a museum in rome about pasta! "museo nazionale delle paste alimentari" http://www.museodellapasta.it/index.php it's in Piazza Scanderbeg 117, near the trevi fountain. hope this helps!
