1. okay you can look on yahoo tours and they have some stuff however i reccomend you check out italiatours.com they have pretty much everything on tours in the country. you can find what your looking for there. northern italy is pretty big so you didnt specify where you want to go. Florence, Venice, Trieste, Pisa, Ect ect.
2. Look for the Rick Steves Tours...They are great and you really see and feel the real Italy and not the tourist Italy.
