Can i travel to Italy?

hi, im an international student just granted a student visa(long term type D)for my higher studies in Czech republic? i just came to Prague and its been 3 days now.I want to meet my cousin in Naples(Italy) So what is the procedure and what documents i need to travel Italy? can i travel Italy without a Italian visa? what are the visa barriers for this tour? many thanks

1. No. Your student visa is only valid in the Czech Republic. To travel to Italy you must apply for a suitable visa. It might be a lot easier for your cousin to travel to Prague.
