  1. You need a VISA. Schengen VISA.
  2. Italy is signatory to the European Agreement on the Abolition of Visas for Refugees. http://conventions.coe.int/Treaty/EN/Treaties/Html/031.htm .. http://conventions.coe.int/Treaty/Commun/ChercheSig.asp?NT=031&CM=1&DF=21/02/2010&CL=ENG .. You can travel to Italy without visa as tourist/visitor for up to 90 days if you meet the general entry requirements for visa-free travel provided that your travel document (blue cover) is valid at least three months beyond your intended stay in Italy and it grants unconditional return to the United Kingdom. http://www.esteri.it/MAE/EN/Ministero/Servizi/Stranieri/IngressoeSoggiornoInItalia.htm ..
