  1. The Soprintendeza Speciale per i Beni Archeologici di Roma, a branch of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities dedicated especially to the city of Rome. Actually it is a sub-branch of the Soprintendenza of Fine Arts. It has supervisory duties, including charges of structural maintenance and restoring. It gives also permissions to archaeologists to excavate or study the ruins. You could enter by paying a ticket that allows also to visit the Palatine. The entrance in in the Via dei Fori Imperiali, between Colosseum and Vittoriale.
