Why Italy
If going to Italy as a single woman how do you not get targeted?
in otherwords how does a woman fit in and not be targeted to be preyed upon.Is it the way i dress? is it the way i walk, talk? is it scarey to be an american woman abroad and alone in italy?

- I can only tell you what I have heard, Americans stand out like a sore thumb in the way they dress, walk and talk. A well traveled friend of mine said Naples is a place where criminals target foreigners big time. One thing they like to do, is tamper with your rental car, and follow you til you break down and pretend to help, then rob you.
