If I travel to Italy the end of March or beginning of April could you tell me if I need invitation letter?

and could you tell me if I only need a passport not a visa? Do you know the cost of a round-trip ticket from Albany NY to Italy around them dates?

  1. An invitation letter? No. I went to Italy and Vatican City last year around Easter and it was perfectly fine. You don't need an invitation to travel to a country... To travel to Italy, you only need a passport, and permanent resident card if you are not a citizen or do not have a United States passport. The tickets are fairly expensive none the less, you can check on general sites such as expedia.com or orbitz.com or even google your preferred airline as they will have a website. It's really simple. It's best to book the flights months ahead of time to get the lowest price.
