What documentation do a person needs if they want to travel to Italy? ?
My friend is getting married and for his honey-moon he wants to go to Italy, but his wife to be has Mexican nationality but is also a legal U.S. resident. Now, what documents does she need to present or gather prior to travel to Italy?

- You have to go to a customs office and get a passport.
- Just a passport.
- a passport to get into italy. a green card to back in.
- if she's a resident then she just needs a passport, and form of i.d. that should be all she needs. I'd bring both the mexican i.d. and american though.
- i would guess just a passport call the courthouse they would know
- passport visa dats all i gess....
- Just a Passport for American and Mexican citizens.
- She needs to get her passport.
- visa, passport, birth certificate, drivers lisence, social security card, anything with identification, proof of address
- Passport. If she has Mexican nationality but is a legal U.S. citizen she should be entitled to both an American and a Mexican passport. She probably also needs a visitors visa since she's coming from outside the European Union.
- Italy is included in the "Schengen Treaty" which eliminated the borders within the European Union (27 member states). Not all of the 27 members are included. But Switzerland is, despite the fact of non-membership in the EU. Traveling Europe is as easy as traveling the US; crossing borders at a high speed. Not bad when considering that they were shooting at people and actually killing many of them at the "Iron Curtain" not so long time ago. US passport holders need only a passport, Mexicans "Schengen visa" available at any consulate of the member states, which enables the visa holder to travel all over Europe. Certainly a progress.
- Mexican Citizens only needs their passports. You do not need a visa to enter Italy. You may enter Italy with a valid passport. Once you have entered Italy the border authorities may ask to see documentation justifying the reasons for and duration of your stay.
- Your friends need to contact with Italian embassy and learn what they need: http://italy.visahq.com/embassy/United-States/ hope it'll help you good luck
