Do Italian men really harass female tourists when they go there?
heard a lot of ppl say that they view sexual harrasment differently over there.

- Not all men do It can happen any wear My girlfriend has grey eyes and blonde hair, and she attracted abit of attention but some men do. some men don't
- I seriously can not believe, what i have just read by the post Britney's Brother, that is an absolute, the most vilest unprecedented post i have ever read on yahoo answers! And to answer the questions, in general most Italian men, pay attention to female ladies, wherever they are from but i don't think they would harass you. They'll only pursue, if you are willing!
- In my experience, Italian men are very flirtatious, but I've never been harassed. Admiring comments, requests for dates/marriage, perhaps some allusions to sex, but it's all very harmless. No one has ever made an inappropriate move, or pursued it further when shown disinterest. I've not travelled Italy extensively, but my experience was that the flirting is good-natured.
- Depends what you consider harassment. Many women, especially in North America, are not used to attention. Italian men pay attention to women in a flirtatious manner. They make women feel desired, beautiful, inspired and romantic. That’s where art in Italy comes from. But they do it in a playful and non-aggressive way. If you call this harassment, then I confirm your question with a YES. If you want to feel alive, perhaps for the first time in your life, then the answer is NO. Have a nice trip! :-)
- They might call out to you or something if you are wearing something revealing. However, on the whole, they are lovely people and are very polite.
