Italy Travel Question: Train to Lerici from Livorno?

Is it possible to take a train from Livorno to Lerici or do I need to take the train to La Spezia and take a ferry or bus to Lerici ?

1. There is no train from Livorno to Lerici, so you'll have to take the train to La Spezia (12km to Lerici) or more conveniently to Sarzana (7km away, en route from Livorno to La Spezia). From La Spezia or Sarzana, you'll look at travelling with local bus (operated by Azienda Consortile ATC : http://www.atclaspezia.it/ ) in order to get to Lerici. I'm not too sure about ferry from La Spezia to Lerici. I thought the ferry would be linking Cinque Terre-Portovenere-Lerici.
2. there is no train station in Lerici. The nearest train station is in La Spezia (about 7 miles, 11 km). I think you can take a bus to La Spezia.From here you can take a train. There are a lot of trains and it is the fastest way to travel (about 1 hour and 10 minutes)
