1. Take a look at the website in the source. However, bear in mind that only women belonging to the wealthy classes could afford dresses such as those shown. Women of the people usually wore long skirts and shirts, sometimes different by region. In the picture (taken in the 1920s) you can see three Sardinian women in their traditional garb.
