2. ya I have traveled all over the world (all but Australia) and Rome is my favorite city of all but if you cannot get to Rome, anyplace in Italy is fabulous. The food is fantastic and history is everywhere. It is awesome to see ancient columns and buildings and while experiencing the sounds and smells of the city. The people aren't the friendliest, but don't let it bother you. Be sure and have gelato every opportunity that you get. Sit on a bench and just watch the people. It is awesome. My husband is a foodie, and has numerous restaurant listings of Rome and Venice mostly, if you want info let me know. But honestly you can just stop at little cafes and get the best food you've ever had. Enjoy! La Vita Y Bella (Life is good)!!!
