how do i plan a trip to go to israel but on the way there stop is rome, italy for a couple days?
is this possible without having to pay for 2 separate air fares... is there some sort of travel agent i could see for that desire? the main destination is israel and we would stay there for a couple weeks but as one of the stops we would like to stay in italy. any help?

- It depends on where you're flying from. You may do better with a travel agent because it looks tricky to do online. The good news is that both El Al and Aitalia fly to N. America and Rome. http://www.alitalia.com/IL_EN/ http://www.elal.co.il/ELAL/English/States/General/ With code shares, you may be able to get a good price on it. El Al actually once offered a stopover and in my case, it was London. I spent a few days there on my way back to America from Israel. Good luck!
- You would fly Alitalia to Tel Aviv with a stopover in Rome. A good travel agent should be able to do that for not much more than a round trip to Tel Aviv. Try STA Travel.
