Why Italy

need help with italian phrases?

I have a tattoo on my arm that says cuore and it's meant to mean "heart on my sleeve"... and I just wanted to know if there are any phrases in italian that are equivalent to "heart on my sleeve" or the idea that someone is unable to hide their feelings... because i'd like to add onto my tattoo and have the whole phrase. Thanks!

  1. "Avere il cuore in mano" : literally: 'to have one's heart in one's hand', 'being unable to hide ones emotion '
  2. col cuore in mano (meaning i have my heart in my hands, i'm totally sincere)
  3. ooh.. this is so important! So you need to add more few words in your tattoo to better explain your feelings? Can you add words before AND after "cuore"? Or only after? col cuore in mano ...but also... cuore sincero cuore trasparente cuore genuino
