Am i racist for ...wanting to marry a white guy or asian?

I have never dated a Latin man even though i am Latin with a mix of spanish(from spain both my grandmother 100% spainard),german,french,and a pinch of middleastern blood (persian).I was brought up in an almost entirerly white neighborhood and went to private school where nearly everyone was white save a few asian as well as Hyndi people. I never even met a latin guy or girl my age till college almost and when i did it was not a pleasent expeirence because i did not speak the language,have a slender frame( runner), and new little or nothing of the culture (raised on american food/mainly italian) .I dont see myself as racist because i have many friends of many different races and have dated asian/white/and one hyndi guy just not latin.My one and only Cuban friend keeps saying i am racist against my own kind and betraying my culture?All because when we were talking about marriage she said she wanted to marry a Cuban and i said i would prefer a white or asian guy? I did not mean to anger my friend its just i dont feel comfortable around latin guys?

1. I don't think being attracted to one ethnic group and not another makes you a racist. Who you date and eventually marry is a matter of preference, and you shouldn't have to feel guilty about it.
2. It is personal preference. We ARE allowed to discriminate in who we marry and for no other reason than "it is what I prefer", stop trying to overanyalze and it is not racist. I prefer caucasion women of average size with short brown hair. Surprise! Sounds like my wife! I also like a woman not to be very skinny and without shape but not fat either, normal woman body and I like medium breasts, long legs, big eyes, full lips....wow...Still sounds like my wife! If my friends have another preference, that is up t them. By the way, I am blonde, am I betraying my own kind? I am English descent and married a Ukrainian ....OMG what will the Queen think? I have never had any interest in Latinas or black women. Personal preference I know many men are attracted to them. Asian women hold no special interest for me, never did. I do not criticize someone else for what they prefer
3. you don't have to answer to your friend on who you date. if she doesn't like it she can pisss off.
4. Doesn't mean that you are racist. You have the right to like who you like.
5. I bet you must be very pretty. Can I have your number ?
6. It's not racist for having a personal preference. The only time I would consider that racist is just not wanting to have anything to do with a person simply because of their race.
