How do you say "living the life" in Italian!?!?
I Love the Italian culture and want to get a tattoo in the language.I know that the literal translation is "vivendo la vita." i want to make sure its right, so if anyone can help me with grammar and tenses. Thanks!!

- "Vivendo la vita" is Italian gerund for "Living the life". If you mean the Infinite verb, it's "Vivere la vita".
- Jenson Button's fan!'s answer is grammatically correct but "living the life" carries some idiomatic nuances that just don't exist in the Italian translation. I think you should keep it in English.
- "Vivere la vita" is a correct translation, but for a motto "Vivi la vita" ([you] live the life!) is more proper (even better with a "!" at the end). In Italian do exist a similar motto (actually more than one) but is longer: "Vivi la vita attimo per attimo (come se fosse l'ultimo)", for instance: Live the life moment by moment (like it'd be the last one). The well known "Cogli l'attimo" ("Carpe diem", "Seize the day") has basically the same meaning.
- I'm italian, the best is Vivi la vita. Vivendo la vita is not used.
