Why Italy

Is everyone on yahoo answers going to back the mighty Scotland against Italy, except the Italians?

Sasan, Golden Angel and Pinky I for one will be gutted if they don't get through, i plan to support them, if England don't get through By the way do Italy only need a draw to get through? and are France already qualified? Thank You weird contact? we all know that u are talking about yourself! when did i specifically state that italy dont cheat? Mark- Will you allow me to support scotland? The asian cup is nothing compared to the euro's..and its not over till its over!

1. No not really because I like Italy..... there are only a few teams I'll support before Italy; Argentina, Spain, and Iraq.

3. I'm Scottish so yes. Italy need 4 points from their last 2 games, I think everyone knows they'll beat the Faroes so they only need a draw against Scotland. Scotland need to win to go through. France need at least a draw against Ukraine (unless Scotland lose) and they are through. It's very tight. Scotland 1, Italy 0

5. i dont care if they dont,we have one of the best fans in world,the atmosphere will be amazing on the 14th of November! in the stadium & pubs and in houses. EDIT- yes italy only need a draw if they win there game in hand,if they dont they need to win against us.
6. I wont back them because I want to see all of the really big teams in the finals. While upsets are fun, Euro 2008 would be much less attractive without the current world cup holders playing in it. That being said, I really like Scotland and wish they would have been able to qualify at the expense of a less accomplished team than Italy.

8. I will be a Neutral. But it be a real nice story to see Scotland go through and France or Italy not make it. Italy has two games left , Nov 17 agaisnt Scotland and Nov 21 against the Faroe Islands Scotland has the Italy game only on Nov 17. France play Ukraine on Nov 21 So....France and Scotland win out, they are both in. If Scotland win ....France will need to only draw since they have the head to head against Italy. People say a draw against Scotland will see Italy in because they play the Faroe Islands after. Also...France will now need to win/draw their game against the Ukraine since they lose the head to head to Scotland. If Italy wins.....Scotland is out...France is automatically in regardless of their game.... Thats the situation...
9. I would in any normal circumstance wish success for the Scots. However, despite all their good work especially in defeating France twice, the Scots once again succumbed to their Achilles Heel, by losing to Georgia. I really cannot see them beating Italy, even at Hampden. It would take the best ever performance by a Scottish side (even higher than those victories over France), and a really below-par Italy, for this victory to occur. A draw would be the best possible result they can get from this fixture, in my opinion. But they have a glimmer of hope, Kiev is never an easy place, especially as the cold winds start settling in. There remains a possibility that the Ukrainians can defeat France. Should that occur, Scotland would qualify at France's expense, had they managed to hold Italy 4 days earlier. Of course victory over Italy would end all permutations, and the Tartan Army will be invading central Europe next summer. I'm going for Italy and France to reach Euro '08, but as they say, hope springs eternal.
10. Frihah one question how do you get internet when you live in a cave? Since when did only Italians supported Italy? That's why it's called Italian fans and don't get hyped up over England cause Iran can crush them any day.
