Why Italy
What is the best time of year to travel to Italy, for weather and less crowds?
I'm considering traveling to Italy within the next year, and would like to know when the weather is the best. Any advise would be great appreciated. :-)

- Problem in Italy is: Nice weather - much crowds Bad weather - less crowds Means July to mid-September is the time when the weather is best, but it will be crowded.
- I've lived in northern Italy for the last 9 years. The best times to visit for good weather and relatively fewer tourists are either late April to early June, or September - October.
