Can German or Italian American men date Jewish women?
I just started dating a Jewish girl and I really like her. My ethnicity is German and Italian with both sets of grandparent coming from Europe after WWII. My grandfather changed our German last name upon arrival to the US. Although no one in my family had anything to o with WWII my parents say dating a Jewish girl won't work out because of the extreme cultural and social differences Is this true?

- sure u can date her wat does it matter? im polish and with a german and his ppl kinda wat took over my country? so ya it doesnt really matter n e more, unless WWIII happens then we might all b fucked lol.
- it depends on what sect of Judaism she is. there could potentially be cultural clashes, but most likely you will be fine. if you really like each other, you can work any problems out.
- Sure you can date her! You have to remember that this was a long time ago. I had a really good friend that was super religious and she was Jewish. I had another friend at the same time who was all-German. Her grandfather was even forced into being a Nazi. They were even better friends, so I think you can date someone who is Jewish- just don't bring it up! :)
- Go ahead and date her. If you like her and the feeling is reciprocal, she will never let things like your ancestry or her religious beliefs stand in the way of your future together.
