  5. It's tasty, but hardly exciting.
  6. I LOVE Italian food, but I'm biased (I'm half-Italian, and yes, my grandfather came over on the boat). I don't have one favorite Italian food, but I can remember going to visit Grandma and Grandpa when I was a teenager and Grandma would put out the spread -- antipasto, bergiole, ravioli, sausage and peppers, eggplant parmesan, and cannoli for dessert -- all home-made, of course. Man, I miss my grandmother and I miss her cooking! I learned how to do some of it before she passed away, but I didn't learn all her cooking and baking secrets...too bad for me.
  7. I love pasta,lasange,pizza.. its tasty.
  8. I love Fettuccini. It so good. I don't know any other reasons why I like it so much. I love Chicken Alfredo its one of my favorite dishes. I like alot of other italian dishes but to many to name.
  9. I love love love Italian food. My Dad makes all kinds of yummy things. I couldn't pinpoint one dish that I like. I love spicy dishes, blush sauce, pesto. I also love tortellini, gnochhi's, ravioli. For dessert I would have to say canolli but also zabagalone and tiramisu. I just think Italian food is the best and yummiest food!

  11. Love it! Pizza, lasagne, pasta, ravioli - all delicious!
  12. Italian food is the best but if you are eating out make sure it is a proper Italian Restaurant with Italian Chef. You should try Prezzo's if you have one in your area. I have been many times the price is reasonable and the food amazing
  13. I just got back from Italy, and at one of our meals, we had a great spread of antipasti: salami, cheese, bruschetta (two different kinds), grilled veg, and this wonderful barley & tuna salad I would have been happy with just that for the whole dinner. Especially that salad. Yum! And so different from Italian-American food.
  14. Yes, love Italian food. My favourite is the good old spaghetti bolognese, made from scratch, and with small cubes of bacon in the sauce as well as the usual ingredients.
  15. I adore Italian food. I'd eat it every day if possible. Mmmm.
  16. I LOVE Italian food, all of it, but I would like to try authentic Italian food to compare it with the one made in USA.
  17. i just like the hoagie and the pasta
  18. I love Italian food but I don't know that I could pick only one favorite - here's a short list: Gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce Spinach Risotto Chestnut Pasta with Rosemary Butter Sauce Pumpkin Ravioli Pizza Margarita Tiramisu I really like the simplicity of Italian food - it's all about the ingredients which makes it so good.
  19. you don't think about Italian Food. If it is properly cooked you just devour it

  25. It is difficult to answer your question because Italy's cuisine is wonderful from the North to the South every Region in Italy as a unique way of preparing food ,from main dishes to desserts. So just to pick a couple I would say Polenta con Cotechino and for dessert Gelato al Limone and let's not forget a nice cup of Espresso coffee con Sambuca.
  26. Pizza di scarola! Oh, God how will you translate it?! You might know what I mean...for the others...it's a two layers pizza dough filled with stuffed greens sauteed in olive oil with olives, capers & garlic
