Why Italy

Why are emails sent from Italy not being delivered to my Yahoo mailbox??? This makes no sense.?

3 emails within the last two weeks never appeared in my mailbox. I only found this out after the senders told me. Yahoo mail might be free, but this is a huge no-no.

1. Have you checked your bulk messages to see if they went there. I get some of my e mails go there from my friends.
2. Contacted Yahoo: They say they are having service maintenance (upgrade?) and they say it will be a day or two before we can get into email - they say that you can try your email every day or so until it comes back up. The phone number to contact them is 18665627219.
