Why are there books tied to some of the trees in the Boboli Gardens in Florence, Italy?
A few years ago I was in Florence and took some pictures of books tied to the trees with white fabric strips. I've been trying to find out why they were there and if they have any significance. If you know or have seen this somewhere else before, please let me know! Thanks!
