Why Italy
How difficult is Italian to learn?
Im thinking about learning Italian since I plan on studying abroad in a year. How hard is it to learn. I have a lot of background in foreign languages, (half year of Latin, Three of Spanish, three of German).

- if you've had Latin and Spanish, then Italian should be relatively easy for you. Go for it!
- Latin and spanish will make Italian easier! But i have heard that Italian is not that easy 2 pick up! Give it a try u will have fun!
- If you are confortable with Spanish then you're most likely to learn Italian more easily. But I don't want to fool you, Italian IS difficult, it has lots of rules and words that you've never seen before neither in Latin nor Spanish. I am Italian and I still have a lot to learn about my language...however, once you are able to speak it you won't be dissatisfied! It's a very pretty language =) ♥ Good Luck!! ♥
- I'm Italian and I can say that my language is not easy because is full of exception. If you already know language like latin and Spanish this will be usefull for you. Good lookc CIAO!!!
