Why Italy

How long does it take to travel Venice from Milan by train? and also From Milan to Pisa?

I need this information as I'm going on a holiday to Italy and I want to go other places not only in Milan. If you also have any tips, it will be very appreciated. =)

  1. from Milano Centrale to Venezia Mestre 2hr 52min From Milano Centrale Firenze Rifredi 2hr 39min to Firenze Rifredi and Firenze Rifredi to Pisa Centrale 1hr 16min The EuroStar Italia makes the journey from Venice Mestre station to Milano Centrale in two hours and 45 minutes or so, which is probably faster than a flight from Venice to Milan, considering the time to get to the airport and the hassles with luggage.
  2. Venice to Milan is 2 hr 20 min to 2 hr 35 min on the Eurostar trains. Intercity or regional trains take longer because there are more stops. The regional trains can be a bit more than 3 and a half hours. Milan to Pisa is 3 hr 37 min to 4 hr 30 min depending on the specific trains and connections - there are some direct trains but a lot of the routes require a train change. When you use the trains here, you need to remember to validate your ticket before getting on the train. You do this by time stamping it in one of the yellow machines which are usually near the tracks. The fines can be quite high if you don't. You can check specific schedules and prices at the Italian train website; the English language version is at: http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html
