How is Kelp translated in to Italian language?
Hi! How do I say Kelp in Italian? And do they sell it in the supermarkets in Italy?
Public Comments
- alghe They probably have it in the larger markets in the bigger cities
- You can more easily find a variety with it's Japanese name: kombu. (alga=algae; then "alga kombu"). It's sold in Italy, and Asian food is more easy to find now than some years ago, but I think you may need to check more than one supermarket before you find it. You should also try in a "erboristeria" (herbalist’s shop).
- Kelp is kelp in Italian. Don't know about buying the edible kind in Italy. Why the hell anyone would like to eat kelp when they are surrounded by Italina cuisnes . . . one of the great cuisines of the world is beyond me.
