Why Italy

Why do black women go on white dating shows?

- They never make it past the 3rd episode; and if they do they are a rarity and will not make it to the finals. Why bother? If there are 23 white women and 2 black women it is obvious what the man likes. You are just a token, the ethnic woman they put in to keep the ethnic audience in check - I know right now the only other choice is Flavor of Love which is full of (mostly) stereotypical black women who want to take off their clothes. The black women on white dating shows usually aren't stereotypical but that man is not going to pick you. This goes for the Bachelor, Rock of Love, and that spinoff dating show of Tila with the Italian dude Guess we'll just have to wait for a real black dating show where the brotha can choose throug at least 20 black women for an entire season; not courtesy of Vh1, BET, MTV, or any other Viacom-owned network P.S. Vh1 was going to do a show of a white man looking for a black women but Vh1 said the black women weren't "ghetto enough" lol Why?

  1. Because they want to be on tv. All the black women on those shows are completely trash and that makes good tv.
  2. of all reality TV the dating shows are the worst.
  3. I think most women go on those shows hoping to jump start acting/modeling careers. But you might as well say "Why do brunettes and redheads and flatchested women go on those shows?" because it's always some blonde with implants who "win"(those guys are always tools, big prize!).
  4. why does skin color matter to you? just becuase the dating show is about a white guy doesnt mean ANYTHING. flav had hispanics, whites and blacks. HE didnt care. but you have to realize that most of these shows are only for tv, its not really reality at all. and ya know i'm glad they are not stopping black women from doing this, becuase america needs to wake up. blacks can date whites. stop concentrating on color geez!
  5. I believe in and have had interracial dating experience, but it does seem a little crazy to me with these shows. Honestly I'm sure these men give a preference of the type of women they like before the show starts which is why they have a large group of women who look similiar...And if the group does not contain a majority of minoirty women, I doubt he stated that was one of his preferences. But I guess the shows can't be discriminatory and the women believe they have a chance, but I think it is highly unlikely.
  6. Segregation is illegal. There is no such thing as a "white dating show"
  7. all the girls on those shows are there to be on tv black or white
  8. I'm a white GUY and even I noticed that schit ..... maybe one day I'll be famous and have 25 women fighting for me on TV, and if that ever happens then I wouldn't pick white women over black women just because they are white ....and it happened on Tila too, she eliminated all but one black dude on the first elimination (but that one black guy was kinda retarded giving her a c0ck in a box)
  9. Why is Justin Timberlake on BET?
  10. I honestly don't know why black women go on white dating shows, maybe they are there just as the token black person, if they weren't there you know some people may have an issue with that! As far as for Flava of Love, I agree with Angel Face, most are there just to jump start their careers the rest are on tv to make a complete a$$ of them selves, just look at the last season!!!
  11. For the same reason that white women go on "Flavor of Love" and white guys were on "I Love NY." These women aren't looking for the men of their dreams (read my blog, I SERIOUSLY doubt that anyone black, white or otherwise is overcome with lust when they set their eyes on Flavor Flav), they're looking for the chance to get their faces on TV so that they can be "stars." I don't think that you can assume that the black women are getting kicked off simply because they're black. I mean, that could be the case but maybe, just maybe, the guy just didn't care for their personalities and didn't feel a connection with them. I've dated more outside of my race than within so obviously there are white, asian and latino guys who have no problem dating black women.
  12. LOL....I have asked myself this same question! I guess some people like being made a fool of or forgotten what country we are in. these shows are made to violate us and make Black Goddess look crazy!
  13. i like you girl. you tell it like it is. this is so true! Starred!
  14. Because the white T.V. shows pay them extra to be there, because if there aren't token black people, whiny Sharptonites will riot and protest about how victimized they are to not be exploited. You people are never happy....
  15. all I got to say is.. Tila Tequila isn't proud to be Asian that is why she always secretly wants to date a white guy there are a lot of Asian girls that would pick a black man in my area there's a lot of Japanese/black babies popping out
  16. This happens often and it sucks! They'll kick off the black girl even if she's really pretty. What I like about the most recent bachelor, Matt Grant, is that he gave the black girl a fair chance and got to know her before eliminating her. She made it to the top 6. That's a rare case, though. I do agree that they should have a black bachelor show so black women can get in on some of the dating show action, too!
  17. I agree with $0.02 on this one. I hate those reality dating shows. I do not see why any woman regardless of color would go on them. It takes a "special" sort to meet a person, know them for three weeks, fall madly in love, doing some stupid challenges, get booted off, then be crying and blubbering with snot flying after just meeting someone.
  18. bcoz they want to potray us a a bunch of negative people Bob johnson(founder and former ceo of bet)sold the company in 2001 to viacom who also own vh1 and mtv and many blacks were mad that he didnt sell it to ablack compnay so i guess some new entrepeneur maybe me will start some black media outlets where i can potray us in a positive light
  19. Dating shows make all of their guests look stupid, cheap, and/or desperate. Don't take issue with so few "black" people appearing on them. It means that dating shows are, fortunately, not used to demean "blacks".
