Why Italy

In your house, or future/dream house, what would be the most expensive thing to go it it?

Mine will be a £35-40K staircase - a single piece of steel spanning four floors, clad in italian white marble with glass balustrades - expensive tastes... Wouldn't a diamond encrusted toilet hurt?

  4. A bar with 20 Carling pumps!!!! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  5. new kitchen with the works
  6. My kitchen appliances. Top of the line....(of course this is a dream)
  7. Swimming Pool (heated)
  8. My wife. She's the most expensive thing I've ever owned (but she's worth it).
  9. A solid gold bathroom! .... oh wait. Someone already did that. "The toilet bowls, wash basins, toilet brushes, toilet paper holders, mirror frames, wall-mounted chandeliers and even wall tiles and doors are all made of solid gold. Embedded in the floor at the entrance are gold bars and studding the ceiling are 6,200 diamonds, rubies, sapphires and pearls. The store’s owner was inspired by Vladimir Lenin’s vision of gold toilets for the masses."
  10. the stone work along with the landscaping
  11. My 24 carat white gold toilet, which is encrusted with diamonds, has a built in bum warmer and reads the Financial Times to me. It cost me 1.2 million but was worth every penny. Edit. The diamonds are specially mined soft diamonds. Only found in jungles of Bongoboonga.
  12. my family as they are all priceless
  13. The huge warehouse building that surrounds the property so that my lawn and house are never in anything but a nice warm climate controlled environment. The walls will be painted to look like a beautiful surrounding of nature, and there will be rain and thunder on a preprogrammed schedule. The sun and moon will come out regularly and I can live anywhere in the world and yet always have my own little piece of privacy.
  14. The housekeeper I would pay to clean it every day.
  15. Home cinema/plasma as for fixtures the bathroom or flooring I suppose if windows are included with building as opposed to contents.
  16. Enough solar panels to power the entire house so no utility company would be needed.
  17. i would have to say a really nice bed that's where you spend the majority of your time plus the more r.e.m. sleep you get the better you feel the next day
