I know an Italian artist. She paints beautifully. How can she show her paintings to the American art collector

1. she would have to submit her work to any of the collectors. They decide. If you want you could also go through a gallery where they take about 10% of teh cost but help you sell your art to the collectors. Thats what we do! They know people who like all kinds of things and they have the right idea on how to sell it to them because those people trust the gallery not the artist.
2. Tell her to do a search on the internet: American Art Dealers. She needs to email an American Art Dealer, not a collector. Collectors use art dealers to broker their purchases, so art dealers are the people she should speak to. Then when she finds the one she wants to deal with, she should email a query about her paintings..briefly describing her style, her background etc. If the collector is interested then she should take digital photos of her paintings and upload them and then forward them to the art dealer.
