Why Italy

What is the Italian word for "art?" And how would you say "World of Art" or "Art World" in Italian?

  1. Arte is art. Same as Spanish (just art.) World of Art is "mondo di arte" Edit: I suggest if you give me a thumbs down, please don't copy and paste my answer like I just saw someone did. Thanks.
  2. Art---Arte World of art---Mondo di arte
  3. World of art is mondo dell'arte art world is Arte mondiale Art is Arte
  4. *I would personally say: Il mondo dell'arte... Been studying Italian for 3 years and I just did my final exam last week.... I hopefully never have to pick up an Italian book again! It's an easy language but it requires a LOT of studying.
  5. Il mondo dell'Arte. Arte=Art.
  6. World of art is "Il mondo dell'arte.' you really need the definite article in Italian. Arte mondiale does NOT mean the art world. It means 'world art'. In this phrase, arte is the noun not the qualifying adjective.
  7. art = arte World of Art = Mondo dell' arte Art World = Arte Mondiale
