I am going to Florence, Italy this summer ~ Need travel advice?
I am going to Italy this summer for a month, and staying in Florence. Anyone been there? I have never taken a trip this long before. I could use some travel advice. Our apartment situation is already arranged. Can anyone offer some advice. Things to avoid, things to see, you know do's and dont's?

- Stay in Florence for one month is enough to see all the city and a quite large part of the more interesting villages or cities in the surround. I think you have to start from the Duomo, the Uffizzi Gallery and the other famous monuments and gallery of the city. The part of Florence less touristic is the Oltrarno (the side of the city of Palazzo Pitti) where you can find restaurants and nightlife most attended from Florentines. There are a lot of other things to do in the city or in the surround ... for example visit the hills of Chianti ... with a rented motorbike is best (for me obviously ...) within 50 km distance you can see many of the beautiful views of this area, passing by the via Cassia and via Chiantigiana ...
