- I don't know the school except by reputation. I would imagine they will have language coaching there- most study courses for singers insist on languages. Since you have a flair for them, the more you can do in advance the better off you will be. Plus you add enormously to your understanding of what to do for singing as you learn to correctly form and speak vowels in different languages. Italian, French, and German should be your targeted languages, since you already have English and Russian taken care of. You don't need to be perfectly fluent, but you do need to pay attention to vowel shaping and tracking. Best wishes, Lynn
- It probably wouldn't hurt to do some work on French, German and Italian. I would assume that any music school would offer these courses, and even require them for voice majors. For my masters degree I was required to show proficiency in all three, either by placing out of them on a test or taking classes on the language and separate classes on diction.
- http://www.fsi-language-courses.com/ The method on that website was used to train diplomats. USE THAT WEBSITE, YOU COULD LEARN SPANISH IN LIKE 8 MONTHS TOPS!! The Mandarin program there is also very good. You mentioned you speak both Persian and Russian? Are you half and half? I always heard that Russians generally dislike marrying outside their race, and I'm pretty sure us Iranians tend to be the same way.
