Why Italy

I asked a ? about travel companies that do weddings earlier....?

thanks for all your great answers. I was also wondering about another 2 things. 1: family are coming too, how do we sort out about paying for it, as surely the travel company will just put it all on one invoice and the family will have to square it later but we cant afford that, and 2: Is it a nightmare all the paperwork that has to be sorted out to go to these places, I've been reading the back of the first choice brochure and it seems to go on forever about what you need to take. I was thinking either Greece or Italy. Is it difficult to sort all the paperwork out, and can everyone get married there, even if one of us is not christened. I read that in Greece an anglican priest marries you and one of you has to be christened and give the name and address of your priest to them.

  1. quite hard, sweetie.
  2. I would recommed googling a wedding coodinator in that location. They will be expert on the area and requirements. I did this for our wedding and it helped me actually decide AGAINST specific locations as I was unaware of strict rules and such. As far as the payments, I chose a destination wedding KNOWING that not alot of people would come, however, I would block an amount of rooms for people to make their own reservations and deal with payment themselves. Unless you want all of this work and stress, pass off as much as you can. You want to remember this as a fun time of your life, not the most stressful. GOOD LUCK
