- There are heaps of stray cats in Rome. They even eat pasta. Its true! Saw them being fed Spaghetti.
- Plants: Ivy and roses. Animals: Italians
- Well, I can tell you that I picked blackberries (more), chestnuts (castagne), tomatoes (pomodori), arugula, basil (basillico), cabbage (verza), zucchini, onion (cipolla), grapes (uva), Indian figs (Fichi d'Indiano), and olives (olive) while I was there. Of course they also have most of the ones that also grow here in the States, like eggplants, potatoes, watermelon (although the watermelons there are MUCH much sweeter), pumpkin, apples, oranges, (Mangoes are hard to find and pretty expensive), escarole, lettuce, bell peppers (so delicious grilled and soaked in Olive Oil with some garlic and salt), and so much more. As for animals, it's pretty much the same - dogs and cats everywhere (more stray cats than dogs), rats (more in Venice though , 'coz of all the water...and yes, they actually swim!), snakes (although they don't have the same kinds of poisonous snakes. They seem to have only Vipers there that are very dangerous, as opposed to all the different kinds here - and since vipers tend to stay on the walls and stones, it makes me feel so much better about walking through all that lovely greenery!), hamsters, birds, cows, buffaloes (that make great milk for Mozzarella! Although those seem to be rare in Rome, so you might have to travel south for that), goats, sheep, and horses. Don't be shocked to find more traffic and cars than anything! Roads are really narrow, cars are super small, but everything looks jam-packed with history. Anyone going to Rome - Be sure to eat any kind of pasta Carbonara there, as that's their specialty.

- Rome is a very old big city. You can find groups of cats which live near ancient ruins....we call them "colonie di gatti"; moreover, going around you can meet dogs walking with their owners. For sure there are other animals, like everywhere. For what concern plants there are a lot of "Pini Marittimi" (there is a huge pinet wood on Colombo's Street which is called Castel porziano), roses (there is a garden called "roseto" where there are only roses near "circo Massimo"), daisy, broom, etc If you are looking for something more specific pls add more dettails, I can help you I live in Rome!!!
