Cheapest Way from San Antonio, Texas to Venice, Italy?
It doesn't have to be at exactly Venice, it could be somewhere near, or just in the Friuli Venezia Guilia region of Italy. What are some great, cheap ways to get there, What if you flew to a different country and took a train near Venice or the Region, would that be cheaper?

- try going to the travel shops and ask about last minute deals hell of a lot cheaper as airlines always need to fill the flights this should even get you home again or direct to heathrow / gatwick London or paris just to try a change, although train journey could take a while a flight on wouldn't cost more than 100 English pound maybe 200 dollars depends on how you prefer to travel
- row boat. it cost more to fly into smaller airports. Venice isnt the biggest airport.
- walk and swim....this IS the cheapest way, but seriously, go to a travel agency in San Antonio, because this is the summer and lots of websites do not advertise cheap fare at this time. Travel agent may get better price through consolidators. Fly to Rome and take the train, at least you will see the country, or fly to Paris or Frankfurt or Munich or Zurich and connect to Venice from these airports. But again go to a travel agency, there are not more expensive than websites.
